TV Interview: Debate Over Legalization Of Recreational Marijuana Continues

2017 was the first year that Connecticut’s legislature had a serious debate on regulating marijuana like alcohol, hosting public hearings on the topic and considering multiple bills.

In my role with the Connecticut Coalition to Regulate Marijuana (aka RegulateCT), I appeared on WFSB’s Face the State to debate legalization with an opponent. We discussed everything from how common marijuana use already is, to who uses cannabis in states where it is legal, how marijuana impacts driving, and the potential benefits for Connecticut’s economy.
